- Jun Jin's mother. She was killed by Ogre prior to The King of Iron Fist Tournament 3. Jin sought revenge, and succeded in killing Ogre at the end of the tournament.
- Kazuya Jin's father. Kazuya tried to awaken the devil within Jin during The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4, and though he succeeded, his plan back-fired and he was defeated by Jin.
- Heihachi This is Jin's grandfather. During his younger years, Jin was taught Mishima style martial arts by Heihachi. But after being betrayed by his grandfather, Jin abandoned his old fighting style and learned traditional karate.
- Xiaoyu A close friend of Jin's. Both attended Mishima Polytechnical High School. Ling xiaoyu clearly has a crush on Jin, but Jin seems to not notice at all.
- Hwoarang Rival of Jin Kazama, ever since Jin embarassed Hwoarang by fighting him into a draw. Hwoarang now strives to defeat Jin in an attempt to prove that he is better.
- Asuka Jin's cousin. The two have met only once, in an embarrasing situation in which Jin fell face flat into Asuka's chest, earning him a punch that knocked him several feet backward.
- Jinpachi Jin's great-grandfather. There is not much else to this relation except for the fact that Jin detests his lineage and, by default, loathes him.
