Fighting Style
Karate is a martial art originally from the island of Okinawa. The word karate means "hands only (rough translation)." Hence, it is mainly used in self defense. However, there are some weapons associated with Karate. For example, the sai and the nunchaku. These two items where originally used for farming, however. The sai was used to carry bails of hay, and the nunchaku was used to level off mounds of rice. Karate is one of the most popular martial arts, and probably the most widely known.
